(Basketball News) - The New York Knicks will resume their push towards the postseason on Tuesday when they return home and welcome the Boston Celtics to Madison Square Garden.
On Sunday, Stephon Marbury poured in a team-high 24 points, while adding 13 assists in leading New York to a 99-86 triumph over the Washington Wizards at the MCI Center.

Marbury has scored in double digits in 17 of his last 18 games and has averaged 24.2 points and 9.4 assists in his last 11 contests.
The Knicks, who will hit the road for a pair of games after Tuesday’s contest, have won five of their last seven at home and are 17-15 in the Big Apple this season.
New York has beaten the Celtics three times already this season, but has dropped eight of the last 13 matchups. The Knicks have also lost five of the last seven at home in this series.
