Marks played in a career-high 25 games last season with San Antonio, averaging 3.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 7.2 minutes.
The seven-year veteran has career averages of 3.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in 9.6 minutes in 105 career games with Toronto, Miami, Seattle and the Spurs.
When Marks debuted with the Raptors in the 1999 season, he became the first native of New Zealand to play in the NBA. The 6-foot-10, 250-pounder becomes the sixth international player on the Suns’ roster, joining Steve Nash (Canada), Boris Diaw (France), Leandro Barbosa (Brazil), Raja Bell (Virgin Islands) and Pat Burke (Ireland).
