Nets decline option on Robinson

 
East Rutherford, NJ (Basketball News) - The New Jersey Nets declined the team option on forward Clifford Robinson for the 2005-06 season on Monday.

Robinson, who was acquired by the Nets on February 14 from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for two second round draft picks, played in 29 games with New Jersey. He averaged six points, 3.3 rebounds during the regular season and seven points and 2.5 rebounds in the playoffs.

In his 16-year NBA career, Robinson has played in 1,250 games, with averages of 15.1 points and 4.7 rebounds.
