The Nets come into tonight’s contest with a 2-1 record on their current four- game homestand.
Kenyon Martin posted 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead New Jersey to a 99-88 win over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday at Continental Airlines Arena.
Richard Jefferson added 18 points and 11 points, while Kidd contributed 17 points and nine assists for the Nets, who scored 14 straight points in the fourth quarter to notch their second straight victory.
With Saturday’s victory, the Nets won consecutive home games for the first time this season.
New Jersey is 4-6 as the host.
The Sonics, who play the second of a four-game road trip, lost their second in a row Sunday, falling to the Toronto Raptors, 108-98, at Air Canada Centre.
Rashard Lewis and Vladimir Radmanovic each scored 20 points for the Sonics in Sunday’s loss.
Seattle is 4-3 on the road.
These two teams have split the last six meetings.The Nets have won two in a row overall over Seattle, which has lost three straight and seven of its last 10 at New Jersey.
