Nuggets’ Anthony fined

 
New York, NY (Basketball News) - Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been fined $5,000 for his actions during Saturday’s win over Miami.

With 3:10 left in the second quarter of a 101-99 win at the Pepsi Center, Anthony threw a basketball into the crowd after he was whistled for charging.

He apparently hit a spectator in the head with the ball.

In 17 games this season, Anthony is averaging 20.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest.
