Nuggets suspend Lenard for one game

Denver, CO (Basketball News) - The Denver Nuggets announced Thursday they have suspended guard Voshon Lenard for one game for conduct detrimental to the team.

Lenard will serve the suspension during Friday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns. The suspension is without pay.

"This is an internal matter that we have dealt with in-house," said Denver general manager Kiki Vandeweghe. "Behavior detrimental to a positive team focus will not be tolerated."

In 10 games this season, Lenard is averaging 8.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
