=== Phoenix’ Marion continues to play like an All-Star ===

(Basketball News) - The Suns (24-12) enter Tuesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings on a two-game winning streak and will play the opener of a brief two-game road trip. Shawn Marion finished with 25 points and 12 rebounds, as Phoenix overcame a 46-point performance from LeBron James to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers, 115-106, on Saturday at US Airways Center.

Raja Bell had 23 points and reigning MVP Steve Nash netted 20 and dished out 15 assists in the win over Cleveland for the Suns, who have won five of their last six games overall.

Phoenix, which will visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, is 9-6 as the visitor this season. The Suns have dropped two straight on the road.

It is the second meeting of the season between the Suns and Sacramento. On November 6th, Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 23 points and made two free throws with 13.3 seconds remaining to lift Sacramento to a wild 118-117 victory over Phoenix at America West Arena, which is now called US Airways Center. Abdur- Rahim (jaw) is currently sidelined indefinitely.

The Kings have won six of nine and 11 of the last 16 meetings in this series. Phoenix has lost nine of its last 10 at Sacramento.

Marion leads the Suns in scoring (20.9 ppg) and rebounding (12.0 rpg). He has scored in double-digits in all 36 of Phoenix’ games and has collected 28 double-doubles. The versatile 6-7 forward is averaging 24.5 points and 12.5 boards in his last 10 outings. Marion has registered nine straight double- doubles.

The Suns have scored over 100 points in 12 of their last 13 contests and own a 10-3 record in that span.

Phoenix is in first place in the Pacific Division, three games ahead of the second-place Clippers.
