Sweetney, Duhon lead Bulls’ rout of Celtics 12.17.2005

Chris Duhon went 6-of-7 from three-point range and scored 22 points for the Bulls, who have won two of their last three games.
Duhon also added eight assists while Andres Nocioni and Darius Songaila each chipped in 16 points for Chicago, which put an end to a four-game home losing streak. The Bulls picked up a home win for the first time since November 29 when they defeated Orlando.
Ricky Davis had 21 points, eight boards and six assists, while Paul Pierce netted 20 points for the Celtics, who have dropped two straight games.
Chicago led 30-21 after one quarter and held a 51-42 halftime edge before blowing the game open in the third quarter.
Kirk Hinrich stretched the lead to 62-44 points early in the frame before the Bulls continued to increase the margin. Sweetney’s jumper with 5:08 left in the third made it a 22-point game and Chicago eventually led 90-63 after 36 minutes.
The Bulls led by as many as 34 points in the fourth.
Chicago hit 60 percent of its shots for the game, including a blistering 14- of-17 on three-point tries, while the Celtics made just 38 percent of their field goals and were a dismal 4-of-15 from behind the arc.
