(Basketball News) - The Phoenix Suns fell for the third straight game, losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 92-79, on Wednesday in front of their home crowd.
Stephon Marbury had a game-high 32 points for the Suns, who fell to just 6-6 at home this season. Marbury also dished out six assists and pulled down four boards.

With the score at 69-64 with Minnesota leading, a bucket by Sam Cassell at the 7:58 mark of the fourth sparked an 11-0 run by the Timberwolves.
The run was capped off by a short jump hook by Kevin Garnett with 5:04 left in the fourth quarter. Garnett scored five points during the run.
The Suns would get as close as 82-72 after a Marbury basket with 4:04 left, but Minnesota used a 9-0 run to put the game away. The run was highlighted by a Cassell three-pointer that made it a 91-72 game with 1:18 left.
The Suns are off until Friday when they start a four-game road trip against Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics.
