Pistons acquire Arroyo from Jazz 01.21.2005

The 25-year-old Arroyo enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2003-04 for Utah, as he averaged 12.6 points, 5.0 assists and 2.6 rebounds over 71 games.
He then signed a new deal in July, but after having a falling out with head coach Jerry Sloan, had seen his role diminish with the club.
Arroyo, who has three years and nearly $12 million left on his contract after this season, started only 16 of 30 contests for the Jazz this year and averaged 8.2 points and 5.1 assists per outing.
The 36-year-old Campbell appeared in only 21 games this season for Detroit and averaged 4.2 points and 2.8 boards per contest. With the acquisition of Campbell, Utah will clear salary-cap space in the offseason.
Campbell has also had stints with the Lakers, the Hornets and Seattle during his 15-year career and has posted averages of 10.5 points and 5.9 rebounds in 1,025 games.
