Steve Nash and the Chipped Tooth Interview

  By C.Y. Ellis

If you haven’t caught this one yet, you’re in for a laugh. For those who don’t know the story, Steve Nash chipped his tooth while grabbing a board against the Jazz and had a little fun with it in the halftime interview, creating a classic clip in the process. It’s rare that a player other than Shaq (for the right reasons) or Ron Artest (for others) can make me laugh like a four-year-old who just saw a fat guy fall down, but Nashty had me folded with this one.

It’s not just the tooth or the voice either; I think we can all agree that Canadians are naturally comedic, what with their furry hats, fondness for moose and crazy belief that healthcare should be free. Ah, those wacky hosers. Oh, and how about them Grizzlies, eh? (For the record, both our resident blogger Oly Sandor and a good chunk of my family call Vancouver home. It’s only a matter of time before they give in to the lure of Memphis, though.)
