The adjective "old-school" gets around more than a Californian socialite these days, but, for the most part, folks just aren’t using it right. Think your shelltoes with the phat laces qualify? Nope. What about the disco pants you found in your parents’ garage? They’re barely out of fashion. And that ’64 Impala your uncle is restoring? That’s basically a new car.

I’m talking about way back in the day right now. I’m talking about a time when not only were the shorts short, they were held up with a belt. I’m talking about a time before Pete Maravich reached junior high, before Michael Jordan was even an embryo. And Kobe Bryant? This clip comes from the year his father was born.
