Toronto, ON (Basketball News) - Chris Bosh scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, as the Toronto Raptors continued their winning ways in January with a 95-86 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats at the Air Canada Centre.

Toronto, 4-2 in 2006, received significant contributions from Mike James, who had 24 points and seven assists, and Morris Peterson, who had 18 points and 11 boards.

Toronto snapped its two-game skid and is a respectable 11-9 since a 1-15 start.

Jumaine Jones scored 17 points and Primoz Brezec tallied 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Bobcats, who have dropped five of their last six games.

Gerald Wallace added 15 points and seven boards, as the Bobcats played without forward Emeka Okafor, who aggravated his sprained right ankle in the second overtime of the Bobcats’ 111-106 victory over Houston on Tuesday.

Brevin Knight sat out the second half with lower back spasms after scoring just one point in 12 1/2 minutes.

Playing with just nine suited players in the second half and after not arriving in Toronto until almost 3 a.m. in the wake of Tuesday night’s never- ending game, the Bobcats tired down the stretch.

Raymond Felton turned it over with 2:28 remaining and James was fouled on the other end. He made both, making the guard 10-of-10 from the foul line, to give Toronto a 86-85 advantage.

Peterson, off of great ball reversal, drained a three-pointer from the left corner to open a 89-85 edge with 1:25 left. Two Bosh free throws and James’ coast-to-coast layup extended the lead to 93-85 and sealed the victory.

The Raptors scored 11 of the game’s final 12 points.

James made consecutive pull-up jumpers and Joey Graham made 1-of-2 free throws to pull Toronto within 54-51 during the third quarter, then Matt Bonner’s three moments later from the left wing got the Raptors within one, 58-57.

Toronto seized a 63-61 lead on James’ three-point play, yet the quarter ended in a 63-63 tie on Felton’s jumper that beat the buzzer.

Charlotte led 27-20 after the first quarter and 45-33 at the half.

Charlotte is 4-15 on the road this season and has lost four straight on the road...Toronto improved to 5-13 at home...Toronto is 4-1 lifetime versus Charlotte...Felton had eight points, six boards and four assists.
