Carmelo Anthony and Lala welcome their first child

Carmelo Anthony’s fiancee, MTV’s LaLa Vazquez, gave birth to a baby boy, the first couple’s first child, at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. Kiyan Anthony weighs five pounds and 9 1/2 ounces, and he’s 18 1/2 inches long.

Melo decided to skip the game against Golden State to be next to his fiance when she gave birth.

Anthony, 22, and Vasquez got engaged on Christmas Day in 2004.

I would like to say congratulations on your new baby boy. Glad to know that he is healthy and all. Hope he grows up to be as fine as his daddy. Wish it could have been me who gave birth, but God put certain people together for a reason. Hope everything goes well with LaLa try to keep her happy (dont want you to get put up for childsupport) but congrats again!! .

first of all lala is to old for melo . melo needs to concentrate on his career but since lala came into his life he been doing really bad at games maybe cause she stresses him out but if lala makes melo happy them thats great and be happy but melo you know that you could of found someone better if you keep looking and did not settle for the first girl who look at you and thought dawm money.but if she makes you happy then i’m happy too cause i really like your style melo. well i hope to see you in your next game i dont miss anyone!!!! .

first of all i just wanna say that whoever doesn’t agree with what i’m about to say i could really care less because it is my opinion. first of all i do want to congratulate them on having a healthy baby boy. But i do not think that Lala is good for melo because i just think that the only reason that she got with him in the first place was because she probably thought that he was young and nieve, and also most definitely because she knew that he was in the NBA and making all that damn paper. Anywayz, on to other matters, i know that i don’t know LaLa or nothing like that, but u know sometimes u can tell how a person is by the way that they act , and u can tell if they have a hidden agenda or a motive. And i don’t want anyone to think that i’m hating because i’m not. But u know everytime u say something negative about somebody u r automatically hating, when it’s really not like that. Personally i think that melo could have did better than LaLa. But all i want is for melo to be happy, and if being with LaLa is what makes him happy then that’s all that matters. But i do think that LaLa is too old for him and that she had everything planned out from day one. So with that being said i just wish them nothing but happiness. .
