(Basketball News) - The Kings tallied a 108-94 win over the Phoenix Suns at ARCO Arena Sunday night.
Peja Stojakovic finished with 32 points and seven rebounds in the winning effort. Doug Christie contributed 28 points, nine assists and eight rebounds for the Kings, who won for the fifth time in six games and earned their third straight victory in the series.
Sacramento regained sole control of the top spot in the Western Conference, as Minnesota fell in Philadelphia Sunday night.
Brad Miller, who missed the last seven games with an ankle injury, had 16 points and 10 rebounds in his return. Vlade Divac had six points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
The Kings, who won at home for the fourth time in five games, improved to 26-5 at ARCO.
Sacramento was without guard Bobby Jackson once again due to an abdominal strain. Jackson could return any day now, as he has missed the allotted five games on the injured list.
Sacramento has a day off before returning to the court against the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday night. Sacramento has won four straight and nine of the last 10 meetings with the Clippers. The Kings have won 11 straight at home against the Clippers.
