Leading by one late in the game, Sacramento used a 7-0 spurt, the initial four points from Bibby and the final three from Vlade Divac, to go up 90-82 with only 30 ticks left on the clock. The Warriors were forced to foul and Sacramento made all six free throws in the final 19 seconds to seal the victory.

With the win the Kings remained 2 1/2 games up on the Minnesota Timberwolves, who defeated Seattle, for the top spot in the Western Conference. The Kings also extended their lead in the Pacific Division to six games over the idle Los Angeles Lakers.

The Kings, who improved to 12-2 in games played on Tuesday this season, have won six of seven and seven of their last nine at home and are 28-5 in their gym this season.

On the milestone front Kings coach Rick Adelman is now two wins away from tying Les Harrison for the most victories in franchise history (295). Harrison coached the Rochester Royals for seven seasons (1948-1955).

Sacramento will return to the court on Thursday against the Dallas Mavericks.
