Stephon Marbury endorses inexpensive sneakers

Stephon Marbury announced is he now endorsing a sneaker that costs only $14.98. The "Starbury One", a sneaker designed by Steve & barry University Sportswear is scheduled to be released on Thursday.

 This deal is not just a marketing trick as Marbury announced he will be playing with the shoes next season. The "Starbury One" is described as an "NBA-quality Sneaker"

Marbury commented, "It was very important to me that the Starbury Collection have a strong social component for kids and parents, especially in urban areas. Steve & Barry’s and I decided to conduct the design contest so kids could give real input into how the Starbury line is created and as a means to give back to youth and the community."

Marbury will not be paid for the sneaker endorsement but will be compensated based on how well the "Starbury One" sells.

Marbury was previously endorsing sneakers from And1.
