A Look at Javaris Crittenton

A Look at Javaris Crittenton

Javaris Crittenton is an athletic play making guard, who is 6’5, 195 pounds and shows a lot of passion. He is a good scorer, has a nice shooting touch, and is a good slasher. He has a quick first step, and is very quick in general.

He likes to dunk, has good body strength, and has big hands. He has good court vision, good passing skills and handles the ball real well. He is known as a hard worker who is coachable and he likes to be challenged. He is a solid defensive player and a good team player.

Javaris needs to work on somethings like being more of a take charge player, he is capable of being the number one offensive option, but defers to his teammates a little too much. He could still work on his decision making skills, and needs to work on his three point shooting. He is known as an aggressive defender and he tends to pick up too many silly fouls because he likes to reach in.

He is still very young and still learning how to run a team from the point guard position. Overall he does have talent, but is still developing at the college level, therefore I feel it would be best for him to come back and continue to improve, instead of jumping to the pros and hinder his progress.

Once he’s more ready maybe in a year or two he’d be a top 10 selection, but even if he decides to stay in this years draft he’ll still be a first round pick, but just under developed. He sort of reminds me of Shaun Livingston in his style of play.

He should stay another year. Once again Lance right on the mark .

I agree with most of you, it would be best if Crittenton came back. He is ok but can become alot better, with a few more years of consistent play. He may not get that right away in the NBA. .

I can see the comparsion of Shaun Livingston. Maybe the Clippers will take him at 14. They could use a new young PG since Shaun’s career maybe over or atleast won’t be the same. .

Just because he’d be selected in a nice spot doesn’t mean he’ll be good. Like Lance said he is not quite ready yet. From what I’ve seen of him he looks like he should be a four year type player. He’d be the next Acie Law of College. .

I think the PG position is the weakest spot in the draft so that helps him to be selected high based on that. So I think if he’s a top 20 he’ll stay in the draft. .

I think Lance is better looking than Javaris, I love those eyes there is something about them. But anyway I guess I give a comment about the article. Javaris is decent but should come back. .

He is an ok player right now, I agree with Lance coming out now could hinder his progress, he’s just now starting to learn and get the feel of how to play the point guard position in college. it will be even longer and harder for him at the pro level right now. .

Him and Thaddeus Young should come back they’re both still young and learning how to play at a higher level. .

No doubt JC should come back, he think he’s the next Marbury or Bosh but he’s not. .
