Darrell Arthur Breakdown

Darrell Arthur is 6’9, 230 pounds, and will be a sophomore at Kansas. He is very athletic, he has great leaping abilities and good timing that allows him to block shots easily.

He can thrown down some explosive dunks and it’s exciting watching him do it. He has good forward and lateral quickness, and he runs the floor well. He has a good mid-range shot, and his shooting skills are starting to develop into deeper range. He is also developing into a good post player, using a few solid moves in the block. When he plays to his potential and he takes more of a role in the offense, instead of being a fourth option, Darrell is capable of being a double-double player. Darrell has also shown he can step up and play against some of the best big men in college. He is good at finishing at the basket and drawing a foul after contact.

Darrell needs to improve his ball handling, and he could still put on some weight to get more strength. His free throw shooting needs to improve big time, with his ability to get to the line, he needs to take advantage of that opportunity. Darrell needs to cut back on his fouls, it is becoming a bad habit for him, and many of them could have been avoided. Hopefully he can improve his basketball IQ.

Overall Darrell has upside to his game, and he seems to be a legit prospect, if he continues to play to his potential he could be a lottery pick when ever he decides to enter the draft. He reminds me of Stromile Swift.

Darrell Arthur is a very talented PF, he has a very bright future. As long as he keeps working hard and plays to his potential he has the chance to be one of the best in the country .

D.Arthur is gonna have a huge season, I think they’ll be looking to get in the ball down low a lot. He can get his free throws, ball handling, and continues to work on his big man skills, he leave the program looking like the next D.Gooden, and be a top 10 pick guaranteed .

I expect him to be in the draft this summer if he does have an effective season. He is definitely a good candidate to be a lottery pick, I believe he could as far as being in the top 5. He still has to improve and develop some more so he can be more productive in the nba than Stromile has been, but they do have similar styles .

DA: is gonna have a break out year, I think he will put up #s like 15pts, 9rbs, 3blks a game, and emerge as one of the top PF’s in college basketball .

I have heard his name a lot over the past few months, but I still haven’t seen him play yet, but it sounds like he has some skills to be an effective contributor .

Kansas is gonna need him to step up big time, with J-Wright gone, and B-Rush trying to recover, but I think he can step up to the challenge .
