Everybody Loves Ramon

Ramon Sessions is a 6’3, 190 pound point guard, and he will forgo his senior season and stay in the NBA draft this year. Many people who have interacted with Ramon has said he is one of the best quality guys you’ll ever meet. He has such a positive attitude and is very humble.

Ramon is no doubt a true point guard who understands how to play the position well. He has great court vision and ball handling skills. He has good size and speed, and sets up teammates very well. He is the type of player that plays to his strengths, and he continues to improve his game quickly. He lets the game come to him and doesn’t rush things. He has the ability to carry a team when needed. Ramon has improved his shooting, scoring, and overall production last season.

He still must improve his perimeter shooting it is very inconsistent. His defensive skills are average. Nothing in his game really stands out, and he is more known for the little things he does on the court, than numbers he puts up on the stat sheet. Some wonder if he has the ability to compete on the NBA level, and they also wonder can he be assertive and keep his confidence up when things aren’t going well for him on the court.

Overall scouts say he would be a great teammate to have and could be picked as high as #35. As a best case scenario Ramon could be Jarret Jack, and worse case Lindsey Hunter.

He is a decent player, but nothing really stands out, and I think he won’t stick around in the NBA for long. There are so many better guards than him. .
