Here are some new hot buzzing draft stories going on, as we get closer to the draft things are becoming more interesting by the day, anything is possible at this point.

Portland GM Kevin Pritchard, is talking to teams about getting another first round pick, one rumor is Atlanta would trade the 11th pick for Jarret Jack. Portland would then try to use that pick get Al Thornton who is on their radar.

Rodney Stuckey is telling teams, Detroit has promised him to be selected at 15. Although the Pistons have been known to make promises to picks, this could very well be false.

The Phoenix Suns are telling people that they are planning on packaging the picks to move up and nab the player they like most. This possibility could change the draft in many ways.

Yi Jianlian who is working out in LA, did not show up physicals and measurements last week in Orlando. Alot of people believe his reps want to keep him as mysterious as possible. But many believe this could backfire on him. Some love his shooting ability, athleticism, and quickness. Others feel he could be a project and will take time for him to develop the NBA style, plus many feel he is soft, and they question many personal things about him also. All these factors could keep him from being a top 5 pick.

As I have felt all along to me Aaron Gray is very solid and could be a steal for the team that selects him. Most observers say they’re not sure he can be an effective NBA player. But his consistent play is changing peoples minds about him some now say "Aaron Gray is really good. He ran well, his body looked great, he’s smart and understands the game. He shot the ball really well. He definitely solidified himself here. He could play for you right now".

Four players scouts say to look out for are Morris Almond, Jared Dudley, Reyshawn Terry, and Taurean Green. "They have looked very impressive and their stocks are rising quickly". All four should be first rounders according to what a scout told me last week.

Some NBA personnel feel Brandan Wright is a project. He has alot of potential but teams in the top 5 don’t really want to wait and develop him, they want someone more ready to contribute now according to one team personnel member. "His free throws and jump shots need alot of work. His frame will hurt him in the NBA because it maybe hard for him to score inside the personnel member" also said. "If he can’t show a team something consistent fast his stock will fall quickly".

According to a Chicago Bulls personnel member the Bulls would take Joakim Noah if he is still around at #9, he said "Joakim would bring the presence of what we had when Tyson Chandler was playing for us". "With Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah and Ben Wallace mentoring them, our front court would be great for many years".

Burnin up I agree. I wouldn’t say they’re rebuilding though. Just reloading. .

agreed, b.wright is sooooo overrated. jianlian is gonna be good, i think he’s just trying to play the mystery card to get teams interested. I sure hope the rockets draft Morris Almond w/ the 26th pick, hometown boy, Houston teams have passed too much on those guyz to miss out on this one. .

I think Almond, Dudley, and Terry are first rounders but Green is still a second round choice to me. He only looks good becuase he’s playing against low talented PGs. .

I think Aaron Gray is a solid big man. He could be like a Chris Mihm or a Rasho.N a decent contributer who will stick around the league, for awhile. I don’t think he gets enough credit. .

thats just like Rodney Stuckey to go around telling lies. He always has to hype himself up, I can’t stand him, he’s an arrogant jerk, he thinks he’s better than he really is, and he’ll be a bust, and I can’t wait until it happens, he’ll be just like Qyntel Woods, I don’t care if you guys disagree with me either, putting up big numbers against lower level competition means NOTHING! .

Why would the Blazers want to get Al Thornton? They don’t need him. They should be trying to get rid of Jaret Jack and trying to pickup Mike Conley. .

The Bulls should take Spencer Hawes a true Center and have Tyrus play PF, that seems to make more sense. But I guess they want an athletic front line. .

I agree, no team is gonna select him if he’s not trying to prove the doubts. It’s already hard enough trying to figure out international players potential. I think he’s a potential bust. .

I wonder why Jianlian is being so secretive, it’s only gonna hurt him in the long run. But then again he must have something to hide that he doesn’t want people to find out and they’re afraid that may hurt him. It could be a lose-lose situation for him. .

I don’t see why people feel B. Wright is the third best player in the draft, he is ok but nothing spectacular stands out to me. .
