Now that the NBA draft has passed, lets look at some updates going on around the league with many prospects.

 The Golden State Warriors have offered Serbian Center Kosta Perovic a 2 year contract. Kosta was their second round pick last year.
 
Jeremy Hunt the former shooting guard at the University of Memphis, will play on the Memphis Grizzles summer league team.
 
Another former Memphis Tiger DaJuan Wagner will be playing on the Denver Nuggets summer league team. The Nuggets may also consider bringing back their former 2002 #5 pick and major bust Nikoloz Tskitishvilli and let him play on the summer league team as well.
 
Coby Karl signed a rookie free agent deal with the Lakers and will play on the summer league team. He is the son of Denver Nuggets coach George Karl.
 
Sun Yue said he is very pleased that he was drafted by the Lakers. He said it’s a good city for him, he’s familiar with LA becuase he played 2 ABA seasons there. Some question the Lakers for selecting him so high.
 
Ivan Radenovic has signed a rookie free agent deal with the Clippers and will play on their summer league team.
 
Darryl Watkins and Mustafa Shakur will play on the Kings summer league team.
 
Rashad Jones-Jennings and Dustin Salisbery will be in the 76ers mini camp with other rookies and free agents. One of the more key players that will be looked at is Gerry McNamara an undraftee from last years draft.
 
Craig Bradshaw will play as a rookie free agent with the Hawks and will join their summer league team.
 
Trey Johnson was invited to play on the Miami Heat summer league team, and he will join them immediately.
 
Russell Carter has accepted an invitation to join Clevelands summer league team.
 
Bobby Brown will join the Bobcats summer league team.
 
Oleksiy Pecherov the first round pick of the Wizards in the 2006 draft didn’t play in the NBA last season, has said he will join their summer league team.
 
Fran Vazquez the first round pick of Orlando in 2005 has said "I want to honor my contract in Barcelona, I’m in no rush to go to the NBA."
 
Pettri Kopenen has signed a wavier, so he will be allowed to play for the Portland summer league team.

on 07.6.2007		 Fran Vazquez is the exact reason I wouldn’t choose an international player that isn’t guaranteed to come over right away. They end up being wasted picks. Instead of picking him we could have had Sean May, Rashad McCants, Gerald Green, David Lee, or even Joey Graham. Anyone but the LAME Fran Vazquez. .

on 07.6.2007		 I’m pulling for Coby Karl to make the Lakers roster. He is a solid player and kid. It would be great to see him get a shot after all he has been through. I thought his dad would be the first to give him a shot. .

on 07.6.2007		 DaJuan for some reason has changed his mind at the last second about being playing on the Nuggests summer team. Does anyone know why? .
