yeah I check the stats on cook he seems to be pretty good when he gets a chance to play alot of the games were he didn’t score he didn’t play many minutes so who knows why that is. but he certaintly has potential if the Rockets do end up drafting him they really need to trade Kirk Synder or Bonzi Wells for a legitmet Power Foward since Chuck Hayes is undersized and only really a rebounder and they alreay traded Juwaun Howard away and who knows if Steve Novak is can start and play defense and score inside sure he’s a great three point Big Man but the Rockets really need a presence to help take some heat off Yao. KG anyone? .

Cook can be a clutch shooter for The Rockets and the need depth at point guard Mike James is too old and wont be as effective so GO COOK! .

Oden was the go to guy johnnie. he did a excellent job. Cooks shooting percentage went way down towards the end of the season. .

Theres a reason why Oden touches the ball more than Cook Johnnie. He is a big man that can score the ball easily. U must not know basketball that well. Oden draws defenders than he can kick out to a open shooter. .

You could clearly see that Daequen Cook was the go to man when Greg Oden wasn’t available at the beginning of the season. I believe the coach tried to hold him back once Mr. Oden became healthy. You cannot hurt a kid just because he’s very talented. The coach knew he was leaving for the nba anyhow. that’s selfish on the coach part if you asked me. .

They must be projecting cook off his potential or high school stats, because he has basically been a no show in this years tourney .
