Roy Hibbert

04.2.2007 - Updated on 04.4.2007

An incredibly efficient big man who has been making steady and noticeable strides in his play for the past three years now. His outstanding size coupled with a huge body and good, but not great mobility make him a near automatic NBA player, but his high basketball IQ and excellent work ethic means he has the potential to be much more than that. Establishes great position on the low block and has become a near automatic finisher thanks to his solid touch and footwork. Can also pass effectively out of double teams. Has good potential on the defensive end as a shot-changing presence. Not a finished product by any stretch, Hibbert still looks fairly mechanical at times and can get too passive on the offensive end. Terrific tournament showing helped his stock tremendously.

Birthdate: 12/11/86

NBA Position: C

College: Georgetown

Class: Junior

Weight: 272

HE DID THE RIGHT THING BY STAYING IN GEORGETOWN BECAUSE NEXT YEAR HE WILL BE THE #1 PICK NEXT YEAR AND HE CAN WORK ON HIS FOOT WORK A LIL BIT MORE WHILE HE’S IN SCHOOL BECAUSE HE NEEDS FOOT WORK IN THE NBA MORE THAN NCAA BASKETBALL AND IF HE DON’T WORK ON HIS FOOT WORK D WADE, LEBRON, & KOBE WILL HAVE HIM ON THE WRONG END OF A LOT OF POSTERS. .

He will be good in the NBA. Just not as good as Oden .

This guy could be the bargain of the draft. Think Eddie Curry with more talent and hustle. Lots of teams will regret not getting him. .
