Tyler Hansbrough

07.6.2006 - Updated on 03.21.2007

A top candidate for All-America honors. Bullying his way to big numbers in the ACC once again, despite playing for a stacked team. A beast around the basket, Hansbrough relishes contact and makes a living with an incredibly soft touch and some of the best post moves seen in the NCAA. His face-up game is coming around nicely, as is his perimeter defense, and he is extremely solid in every other facet as well. While he is a good athlete, he lacks some quickness and explosiveness, and is a bit more advanced age-wise than most players in his class. Size is just average. Production will be what gets him in the top-20, more than potential.

Prospect for: 2007 NBA draft

NBA Position: Power Forward

College: North Carolina

Class: Sophomore

Height: 6-8

Weight: 240

Hometown: Poplar Bluff, MO
