Lucky Lottery 05.23.2007 - Updated on 05.23.2007
 | | | | | | | | | | Well last night was full of surprises with the draft lottery, a lot of odds were beaten with the top three picks. Instead of the projected order of Memphis, Boston, and Milwaukee. Luck landed in the Pacific Northwest with Portland, and Seattle having the two top picks, and Atlanta with the third pick really lucked out, because any pick past the third would have went to Phoenix to complete the Joe Johnson trade. The rest of the draft is in order based on the season records starting with the worst. So here is a new list of my mock first round draft, as of right now. 1. Portland- Greg Oden 2. Seattle- Kevin Durant 3. Atlanta- Al Horford 4. Memphis- Mike Conley Jr 5. Boston- Brandan Wright 6. Milwaukee- Corey Brewer 7. Minnesota- Julian Wright 8. Charlotte- Roy Hibbert 9. Chicago- Spencer Hawes 10. Sacramento- Jeff Green 11. Atlanta- Acie Law 12. Philadelphia- Yi Jianlian 13. New Orleans- Joakim Noah 14. L.A. Clippers- Al Thornton 15. Detroit- Jason Smith 16. Washington- Nick Young 17. New Jersey- Tiago Splitter 18. Golden State- Josh McRoberts 19. L.A. Lakers- Morris Almond 20. Miami- Javaris Crittenton 21. Philadelphia- Thaddeus Young 22. Charlotte- Rodney Stuckey 23. New York- Marcus Williams 24. Phoenix- Rudy Fernandez 25. Utah- Aaron Gray 26. Houston- Brandon Rush 27. Detroit- Alando Tucker 28. San Antonio- Dominic McGuire 29. Phoenix- Nick Fazekas 30. Philadelphia- Gabe Pruitt |

Posted by on 05.23.2007 | I say Celtics take Jianlian. Twolves take B.Wright. Kings take J.Wright. 76ers take Jeff Green. Everything else I agree with. . | Posted by Troy Newsome on 05.23.2007 | Overall I like the list, I would change around a few selections, but I can definetly see where you’re coming from Lance. You have the best mock list I’ve seen so far. . | Posted by Young J on 05.23.2007 | i hope the first round does go down like this, i like it, i can see each player with each team of these teams, no disagreements from me. . | Posted by Future Scout on 05.23.2007 | I can see where Lance is coming from with his draft. He based it on what players fit with certain teams or what might be best for them. I honestly feel it’s perfect. Some say Yi or Joakim would go at 5 for the Celtics, but I think B.Wright is a way better route to go for them. . | Posted by on 05.23.2007 | I like your mock draft list Lance is makes sense, I don’t really see a problem with it. The only one that I may disagree with is Yi Jianlian, I think he’ll be a top 10 no matter what. . | Posted by Norman on 05.23.2007 | Wow the lottery was a shocker. Nobody seen that coming. I know Memphis, Boston, and Milwaukee and Phoenix are pissed, because they missed out on players that would be perfect for their franchises. . | Posted by Jus Blaze on 05.23.2007 | Yeah Boy! Oden gonna be a beast in Portland our new lineup of Greg.O, LeMarcus.A, Brandon.R, Jarret. J and Martell.W. Then our bench wit Darius.M, Serigo.R, Joel.P, Travis.O, Fred.J, and Dan.D. We’ll be the most improved team next year. Young, fun, and sweet. I can’t wait. Peace out Randolph you fat, overpaid, punk. We no longer need you. . | Posted by SuperDuperSonics! on 05.23.2007 | Well peace out Rashard Lewis, you’re getting bumped for our future franchise player Kevin Durant. That saves us alot of money anyway. If only we can find a good young center, we might beable to pull a 6,7,or 8 seed next year, with the right coach and play as a team with no issues. . | Posted by hoops hater on 05.23.2007 | ha, ha Grizzles and Celtics, I bet you’re salty. You would’ve shome how screwed up the picks anyway based on your history of drafting in the top 3. . | Posted by Lakers 4 Life on 05.23.2007 | I really do hope the Lakers take Morris Almond, he’d be a perfect fit and is capable of playing right now. Phil would like a player like him. . | Posted by on 05.23.2007 | Man the Hawks better pick Mike Conley Jr first, than take Jianlian later, based on Lances draft it could work. . | Posted by ATL- Shawty on 05.23.2007 | I want my Hawks to take Yi Jianlian, I don’t care what his age is, dude has skills that we could use. . | Posted by on 05.23.2007 | Why did you let Yi Jianlian slip Lance? Do you have some inside info on the deal with is age? Because it was reported he would slip if it was found thats he’s 3 years older than what he really is. . | Posted by JT on 05.23.2007 | This would be a perfect first round if it went down this way. . |
