Donte Green is no where near top 20 (even first round) material. He needs another year to develop. He was an inconistent shooter, stopped even trying to drive the lane once B-EAST play began, and disappeared in big games (Gtown, Pitt, UConn, Louisville, ND)His stock is down. Needs to demonstrate ability to dominate at the college level before he’ll be anywhere near a lottery pick. .

as far as your forwards go, tyler smith has hurt all above him that he’s played against, speights can’t hold a candle to him, hendrix has the capability but won’t be better than tyler, daye couldn’t do anything with him, and donte green will fall below tyler smith after the sec tourney and the final four! go tyler go! .

Well, I couldn’t help but respond here although unlikely I’ll ever be back. People are morons. Especially this "stat" guy. First, tyler hansbrough game translates as s---to the NBA. He is a pure college a player and someone that doesn’t come around much but he is a very undersizied power forward who has no shot or real post moves. He succeeds off of tenacity and hustle which works in college but not at all in the NBA. He will still be a very late first ropund pick and will probably not come out this year anyway as he has to be aware of his limitations and has the chance to go down as the top scorer in carolina and top in Acc history. Also, regarding "what id thet get hurt". Ummm, are you kidding me? One, they often do not sustain career ending injuries on a basketball court but also, these contracts are guaranteed. grant Hill was hurt 3 or 4 years in a row in orlando and still got every dime he would have gotten if he was an all star. Once you are drafted and signed, the money is guaranteed provided you don’t go doping crazy s---drunk on a motorcycle. Greg Oden hasn’t played a game in the NBQA. He is still receiving his paychecks. NBA contracts are guaranteed and because of that, it is hurting their product with really an exception being this year because of the ridiculous race in the west. .

They go to school to get an education to make money, correct? Why not stay in college and not go get a million dollars a year and really develop? By staying in school, you have to attend cla-------and attend study halls!! By goint o the pros, you can really work on your game. This education crap kills me. Most basketball players go to college with a 2.0 GPA for BASKETBALL or should they go get a degree in accounting and go make $40,000 a year over a million playing basketball? HMMM let me think!!! Kepp the education bull s---to yourself .

Alot of these players are FRESHMEN, they should stay in college for their education. what if they get hurt? they need to stay. the only freshmen ready for te NBA is Micheal Beasley.Derrick Rose is good but he or O.J Mayo are feady for the NBA .

The Heat are done. At the end of the season, Shawn Marion will sign somewhere else or a sign and trade for more money. Than they will lose in the Lottery and get the 4th pick. They will draft Jerryd Bayless or Deandre Jordan and both will take a little while to produce. 1/2 way through next season, Dwayne Wade will be asked to be traded and they will get 2 good players, but not a superstar like him in return. Again, THE HEAT ARE OFFICIALLY OVER!!!! Sorry .

Heat should trade matrix for a good Center, and i mean good!and draft Rose!pat mills in the NBA? .

i agree with mike, beasley with the heat looks nice on paper, but i dont think theyd mesh well... they need a quick, athletic ballhandler who can run with wade and matrix and get them the ball while on the run.. that way, wade doesnt have to be the main playmaker and always have the defense focused on him. he can move without the ball better and that makes it a double threat because you know matrix is always runnin around everywhere... then you got wade runnin free too.. while rose handles the playmaking... if rose can mature into a legit pg, which i think he will with a few years... whoo watch out. .
