Here is my updated version of prospect comparisons for players that could have a future in the NBA or overseas. I have reevaluated the playing style of some players and noted where individuals have improved or declined. The (P) is for the prospect, (BC) is for best case with a pro example, and (WC) is worst case with a pro example. If you don’t see one of your favorite players, they may appear in part two, which I will have in a couple days. Feel free to give your own examples if you disagree with my comparisons.

on 07.8.2008 | Lance Stephenson is "The Truth" love the Paul Pierce scenario. I also like the little brother scenarios in Tony Durant, Ryan Thompson, and Jeremy Pargo. Lastly I definitely feel these are very realistic and objective scenarios, some people feel just because a player is said to be like someone, doesn’t mean they’ll be exactly, it just means similar style as a pro, I felt a very good job was done with this. . | Posted by

on 07.7.2008 | I like many of these comparsions. I think most people won’t see them or understand them totally right now. Some will say they’re favorite player may be better, or what not, but I think you gave realistic ones. It is a transition from college to the NBA, and I can give you many examples where very good players in college didn’t turn out to be so good in the NBA. Patrick Mills and Andrew Ogilvy may have similar roles like the pro examples listed, it’s just to give people an idea of their style of play. I must say as well that at Kirk Hinrich’s best he can be a better player than Ron Harper, he just must stay consistent. . | Posted by
