Allen out with ankle injury

Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - Seattle shooting guard Ray Allen could be out the remainder of the season due to bone spurs in his left ankle.

X-rays were taken Wednesday and Allen is expected to get a second opinion to see if he’ll need season-ending surgery.

Allen is averaging a career-best 26.4 points in 55 games this season.
