Atlantic Division-champion Raptors host Bulls

The Raptors went 2-1 on a three-game road trip and captured the first division title in franchise history with Friday’s 94-85 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center. After the New Jersey Nets lost to the Bulls, the Raptors were able to call themselves Atlantic Division champs.

Against the Sixers, Chris Bosh scored 23 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had four steals for Toronto, which is third in the Eastern Conference standings. Anthony Parker, T.J. Ford and Juan Dixon each poured in 12 points, while Ford also had six assists in the winning effort.

Toronto, which has won five of six overall, has won four in a row at home and owns a 27-10 record at the Air Canada Centre this season.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have won three straight and seven of their last eight games, including Friday’s 105-74 triumph over New Jersey at the United Center.

Ben Gordon scored 27 points to lead Chicago, which is tied with Cleveland at three games behind Detroit for the top spot in both the Eastern Conference and Central Division standings.

Luol Deng posted 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulls, while Kirk Hinrich scored 20 points and Chris Duhon added 12 in the win. Chicago played without Ben Wallace (sinus inflammation), Tyrus Thomas (flu), Andres Nocioni (foot plantar fasciitis) and Adrian Griffin (back spasms).

Gordon (wrist), Thomas and Nocioni are listed as probable for Sunday’s game, while Wallace and Griffin are questionable against Toronto.

Chicago has won three in a row on the road and is 17-21 away from the Windy City this season.

Sunday’s game between Chicago and Toronto is the fourth and final meeting of the regular season. The Bulls lead the series, 2-1, and have won 15 of the last 16 encounters.

Chicago has won seven straight after losing its last nine at Toronto.
