Baron Davis to Visit Don Nelson in Maui

Despite the ostensible acrimony that characterised the end of their relationship, it appears as if Baron Davis and Don Nelson are still tight. Coach Don, who spends his summers bronzing his behind in Maui, was recently asked if he was expecting any visitors.

Baron’s coming out next week. It’ll be good to see him. I miss him.

Ain’t that cute? Evidently, Baron has forgiven his former coach for the inexplicable benching in the last game of their curtailed playoff run. With Nelson recently having been made $6.3 million richer (my heart bleeds, Cubes) and Boom Dizzle fresh from signing a deal worth $65 million, there’ll be no quibbles over who pays for the cocktails.
