Sacramento, CA (Basketball News) - Kevin Martin scored 23 points and Mike Bibby added 20 in Sacramento’s 98-80 convincing win over the Chicago Bulls at ARCO Arena.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim contributed 15 points for the Kings, who tied a season- high with their third consecutive victory. Sacramento shot just 40.8 percent, but hit 26-of-29 free throws while holding the Bulls to a 33.3 percent clip from the field, on the way to its seventh straight home win.

Andres Nocioni and Darius Songaila each had 14 points for Chicago, losers in five of its last six.

A jumper from Ron Artest capped six straight points by the Kings in the early going for an 8-3 advantage. Sacramento led 24-15 after one quarter and used a big second to pull away. A 13-2 spurt moved the Kings to a 40-26 cushion, as Abdur-Rahim capped the spurt with a jam and a layup that led to a three-point play.

Sacramento widened its margin to 51-32 at the half and turned it into a rout in the third. The Kings led by as many as 31, as Bibby converted two free throws for a 73-42 bulge with 3:09 remaining in the period.

The Bulls only got within 20 by ending the game on an 18-7 run.

Brad Miller had 11 points for the Kings, while Tyson Chandler pulled down 16 rebounds for Chicago, which went 2-of-15 from three-point range...Martin and Bibby each went 7-of-7 from the foul line...Chicago has lost seven straight at Sacramento...The Kings have won 12 of the last 13 meetings.
