Washington, DC (Basketball News) - Juan Dixon scored a career-high 35 points off the bench, and the Washington Wizards led wire-to-wire for a 106-99 victory over the Chicago Bulls in Game 4 of their first round Eastern Conference series.

Homecourt has been good to the Wizards, who won two straight at the MCI Center to even this best-of-seven series at two games apiece. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in Chicago, where the Bulls won the first two games by a combined 19 points.

Washington led comfortably throughout most of this one, shooting 54 percent in the first half for a 61-37 lead at the break and going ahead by as many as 28 points in the second half.

Gilbert Arenas added 23 points in the win and Antawn Jamison scored 18, including eight during a 19-5 Wizards run to open the game. Washington shot 45 percent for the game, which wasn’t close until Chicago came alive in the final minutes.

Jannero Pargo and Kirk Hinrich scored 18 apiece to lead the Bulls, who shot just 24 percent in the first half and only 34 percent for the game. Tyson Chandler added 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Adrian Griffin also scored 13 in the loss.
