NBA Game Summary - Milwaukee at Seattle 03.23.2006

Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - Chris Wilcox had a career-high 30 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Seattle SuperSonics to a 114-105 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at KeyArena.
Rashard Lewis had 27 points, Ray Allen had 15 points and Luke Ridnour added 12 points and 10 assists in the win for the SuperSonics, who have won two of their last three games.
Michael Redd scored 26 points and Bobby Simmons and Dan Gadzuric each chipped in with 14 points for the Bucks, who had a small two-game winning streak stopped.
The opening 12 minutes was a close-run affair. Simmons gave the Bucks a five- point lead, 24-19, on a jumper with 3:14 left in the quarter. But, the Sonics scored the final nine points of the quarter and were leading 28-24 going into the second.
Simmons started out the second with back-to-back three-pointers to put Milwaukee back on top, 30-28, less than a minute in. The team built its lead to seven points, 38-31, after Gadzuric put in a layup with 8:52 remaining.
But, Seattle slowly chipped away at the lead and Wilcox’s alley-oop with 1:41 remaining in the second gave his team a 55-54 lead, which was the score when the teams went to the locker room.
The Sonics continued to shoot well in the third quarter and had a 65-58 lead after Lewis hit a jumper with 8:41 left. A Robert Swift layup with 30 seconds left gave the Sonics a 83-75 lead going into the final 12 minutes.
Seattle grabbed its largest lead of the game, 89-78, when Damien Wilkins put in a layup with 9:36 left in the game.
But, Milwaukee went on a 12-3 run and closed the margin to 92-90 when Joe Smith put in a jumper with 6:52 left in the game.
Allen and Ridnour hit jumpers, sandwiched by two free throws from Redd, to make it a 96-92 game, but Charlie Bell drained a jumper with 5:15 remaining to make it a 96-94 game.
Lewis and Simmons then exchanged jumpers, but Earl Watson hit a trey with 3:07 left to give Seattle a 101-96 lead.
Milwaukee did not hit a basket for over three minutes as Seattle cruised to the victory.
