Jamal Crawford scored 13 points and dished out six assists, and Stephon Marbury scored 11 points in the New York victory.
Tony Parker scored a game-high 21 points in the San Antonio loss. Michael Finley added 15 points in 22 minutes off the bench.
San Antonio was without Nazr Mohammed, who did not play due to personal reasons.
