Charlotte is 0-3 so far on a six-game swing and suffered a 127-90 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday at the Rose Garden. Matt Carroll had 20 points for the Bobcats, who have dropped four straight after a four-game winning streak.
Gerald Wallace scored 13 points and Adam Morrison added 12 in a losing effort.
The Bobcats, who are 9-21 as the guest this season, will also visit Utah and Phoenix on the trek. They are currently six games off the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, the Sonics have won two of their last three games, including Thursday’s 77-75 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in the opener of a brief two-game homestand.
Rashard Lewis scored 31 points, including four in the final minute, as Seattle improved to 17-13 at KeyArena this season. Chris Wilcox finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds for Seattle, which is last in the Northwest Division and 5 1/2 games off the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.
In injury news, Sonics star guard Ray Allen (bone spurs in left ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against Charlotte. Allen did not play in Thursday’s home win over the Clippers.
Sunday’s showdown between Charlotte and Seattle is the second and final meeting this season. The Sonics won the first matchup, 99-85, on November 10 at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
Charlotte has lost both meetings at Seattle, which is 4-1 in the all-time series.
