(Basketball News) - Paul Pierce scored 29 points and grabbed eight rebounds, as the Boston Celtics rallied for an 86-84 victory over the Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Mark Blount added 16 points for the Celtics, including a tip-in with 48 seconds remaining that completed a 10-point turnaround for Boston in the final 5:38 of play.
"This was a great win," Blount said. "Everyone did what they needed to do, stepped it up, and we got the win."
The Celtics snapped a four-game losing streak with their fourth-straight victory over Miami. Walter McCarty chipped in with 14 points.
Boston won despite being dominated on the boards, 52-34.
The Celtics improved to 11-10 on the road.
Pierce is averaging 22.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the last three games.
Boston is off until Friday when it hosts the Washington Wizards.
