Boston Massacre ends: Celts down Bucks, halt skid at 18 02.14.2007

Gerald Green deposited 21 points and Al Jefferson had 17 and 10 boards for the Celtics, who also snapped a franchise-worst 13-game home skid. The win was Boston’s first since January 5.
Mo Williams scored 31 points, Charlie Bell had 24 and Brian Skinner scored 13 with 11 rebounds for Milwaukee, which lost its fourth straight.
After the Bucks scored the first five points in the third, Boston took control of the game with a 16-3 run, capped by a Brian Scalabrine three putting the Celtics ahead 74-62. Pierce scored eight points during the surge.
Milwaukee trailed 89-74 heading into the fourth and were never able to get within 11 in the final frame.
Milwaukee held a 32-19 advantage after one quarter.
The Celtics rallied in the second, scoring 39 points to take a 58-54 lead at the break despite being outrebounded 22-11 and allowing the Bucks to shoot 62.9 percent during the half.

Boston’s Wally Szczerbiak returned after missing two games with a sprained right ankle and scored 14 points...Boston won for the first time since January 5th...It was the first time Pierce and Szczerbiak both played since a win on December 16, which gave the Celtics a five-game winning streak. Boston was 2-25 since then...Boston shot 54.9 percent, Milwaukee finished at 51.3...The Bucks outrebounded Boston 43-29 in the defeat.
