Milwaukee made it six wins in row with Wednesday’s 112-96 triumph over the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum. The Bucks are 2-0 on a brief three-game road trip and improved to 7-10 away from the Bradley Center this season.
Against the Grizzlies Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut each scored 20 points, while Bogut added seven rebounds. Redd finished with five boards and four assists.
Maurice Williams netted 18 points and dished out six assists and Ruben Patterson contributed 19 points, six boards and five helpers off the bench in the win for Milwaukee, which is last in the Central Division but four games off the pace.
The Cavaliers, meanwhile, have won two straight after a three-game losing streak and defeated Atlanta, 89-76, on Wednesday night at Philips Arena.
LeBron James poured in 27 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Cleveland. James finished 10-of-25 shooting and also dished out three assists, while Larry Hughes scored 17 points in the victory.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas posted 16 points and 10 boards for the Cavaliers, who are tied with Chicago at two games off Detroit’s lead in the Central Division. Drew Gooden added 12 points in a winning effort.
Cleveland is 12-3 at home this season.
The Cavs went 3-1 against Milwaukee last season and have won three straight and four of the last five meetings.
Milwaukee has dropped six straight and eight of its last 11 trips to Cleveland.
