Celtics’ Scalabrine has successful surgery

Boston, MA (Basketball News) - Boston Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine underwent successful surgery on his right hand on Monday.

Dr. Hervey Kimball with the assistance of Celtics’ team physician Dr. Brian McKeon performed the surgery at New England Baptist Hospital.

In 54 games this season, Scalabrine averaged 4.0 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest.
