Central Division foes meet in Milwaukee

The teams have already met twice this season as each club won on its home court.

The Bulls, who have lost 10 of their last 11, lost their third straight game under new head coach Scott Skiles on Monday, as the San Antonio Spurs downed Chicago, 96-82, at the United Center.

Jamal Crawford paced the Bulls with 26 points. He was 11-of-26 from the field as the Bulls suffered their third consecutive loss. Antonio Davis contributed 16 points and 13 boards and Eddy Curry finished with 16 for Chicago.

Chicago forward Scottie Pippen will have surgery on his left knee Friday and will be out indefinitely. Pippen has missed eight of the Bulls’ first 20 games, seven of which were due to pain and swelling in his left knee. Friday’s surgery will be the 10th for Pippen. Last summer the forward signed a two-year, $10 million contract with Chicago.

Pippen was averaging 7.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.25 steals in 22.3 minutes this season.

Chicago is 3-7 on the road this season.

Redd scored 25 points, including five of his team’s seven in overtime, as the Bucks defeated the Golden State Warriors, 94-89, Wednesday in front of their home crowd.

Dan Gadzuric recorded his first double-double of the year with career highs of 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Bucks, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Desmond Mason added 13 points and T.J. Ford scored 11 for Milwaukee, which has now defeated Golden State eight consecutive times.

Milwaukee forward Tim Thomas (ankle) is expected to miss tonight’s contest.

These two teams have split the last six meetings, while Chicago has won five of the last nine with the Bucks. Chicago has lost 11 straight after winning its last six at Milwaukee.
