Chauncey Billups Likely to Be Cut from Olympic Team

Factor that in with the almost certainty that Jason Kidd will be the starting point guard and Billups would have to battle young and fresh Chris Paul and Deron Williams for the one remaining point guard spot, and he is starting to look like the odd man out.

"I haven’t seen Chauncey lately," Colangelo told the Rocky Mountain News. "He’s one of the players we’re considering."

Billups, who was a key member of the team last summer, helping it qualify for the Olympics by winning gold in the Tournament of Americas, will know his fate by the end of the month. [Detroit News]

oh HELL NO!!! you can’t cut the person who led the detroit pistons to 2 finals appearances!!! jason kidd has experienced it already, led billups play!!!!!! .
