Chicago Bulls Team Report - April 4 04.4.2004
|
(Basketball News) - The Chicago Bulls’ season of misery continued on Saturday, as they dropped a 97-83 decision against the Miami Heat at the United Center.
Eddy Curry poured in a team-high 20 points for the Bulls, who have dropped six of their last eight games. Jannero Pargo came off the bench to contribute 17 points, while Marcus Fizer added 10 in the setback.
Jamal Crawford was just 1-of-10 from the floor and scored four points in 19 minutes of action.
Chicago, which trailed by 24 early in the final period, got within 13 at 92-79 on Fizer’s jumper with 1:29 left in the contest, but that was as close as the Bulls would get.
The Bulls, who closed a brief two-game homestand tonight, have won just two of their last seven and eight of their last 12 at home and are 14-25 in their arena this season.
Chicago, which was swept in the season-series for the first time in franchise history by the Heat, will return to action on Wednesday against the New York Knicks.
