=== Chicago Bulls Team Report - January 18 ===

(Basketball News) - The Chicago Bulls lost to the New York Knicks, 101-96, on Saturday at the United Center.

Eddy Curry and Jamal Crawford each had 20 points for the Bulls, who lost their third straight and fifth in six tries. Chicago has also dropped five of seven at home.

The Bulls actually held a seven-point lead heading into the final period, but that was quickly erased thanks to some scorching shooting by Keith Van Horn.

The 6-foot-10 forward scored 13 points — on two short jumpers and three three-pointers — as the Knicks took control of the contest with a 16-2 run. Van Horn’s jumper in the lane with 7:18 left gave New York an 84-77 advantage.

Chicago never could recover and the Knicks emerged victorious.

"It looked like he was out of gas," Chicago head coach Scott Skiles said of Curry, who scored just one point in the second half.

Chicago had its five- game home win streak versus New York come to an end.

Antonio Davis contributed 18 points in the losing effort.

The Bulls are off until Monday when they visit the Washington Wizards.
