(Basketball News) - The Chicago Bulls continued to struggle and on Friday found themselves on the losing end of a 106-93 decision against the Dallas Mavericks at the United Center.
Kirk Hinrich had a career-high 23 points and 11 boards for the Bulls, who have dropped six straight and eight of their last nine overall. Jamal Crawford scored 15 points and handed out seven assists in the losing cause.
Chicago has now lost to Dallas 12 straight times with its last win over the Mavs coming back on December 29, 1997.
The Bulls tried to mount a late comeback, but it never got closer than nine points in the final stanza.
Hinrich was 5-of-12 from three-point range and also handed out five assists, while Kendall Gill scored 14 and Antonio Davis grabbed a game-high 12 boards in the loss.
Chicago returns to action on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.
