=== Chicago Bulls Team Report - March 11 ===

(Basketball News) - The Bulls’ recent struggles continued Wednesday night, as they dropped an ugly 98-65 decision to the Detroit Pistons at The Palace.

Kendall Gill paced Chicago with 12 points. He sat out Tuesday’s contest versus Philadelphia because of an eye injury. Linton Johnson collected 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Bulls, who have lost four straight and eight of their last 10 contests.

Chicago’s Eddy Curry (right thigh bruise) missed the contest. It is unknown when Curry will return to the court.

The Bulls became the Pistons’ fourth straight opponent to manage less than 70 points. Detroit is the first team since the shot clock was implemented in 1954-55 to hold as many as three consecutive foes under 70 points.

Chicago struggled mightily, mustering nearly as many turnovers (20) as baskets (25).

Chicago, which is in the midst of a stretch of four games in five days, will return to the court Friday night against the New Jersey Nets at Continental Airlines Arena.

The Bulls lost their first meeting of the year with the Nets, 95-78, on December 23 in Jersey. Chicago will take on the Nets twice in the final 18 contests of the year.
