(Basketball News) - The Chicago Bulls welcome the Los Angels Lakers to the United Center tonight. This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two teams. The Lakers defeated the Bulls, 101-94, on November 21, 2003 at the Staples Center.
The Lakers have won two of the last three meetings between the two teams. LA has lost two straight after winning its last two at Chicago. The Lakers have lost five of their last seven as the visitor against the Bulls.
Chicago comes into tonight’s game on a five-game losing streak. On Friday, the Bulls were defeated by the New Jersey Nets, 88-76, at Continental Airlines Arena.
Jamal Crawford scored 25 points to lead the Bulls, who lost their ninth game in their last 11 tries. Kirk Hinrich was the only other Chicago player in double figures with 12.
The Bulls, who have lost four of their last six as the host, are 12-21 at home this season. Chicago is 5-9 in Saturday games.
