(Basketball News) - The Chicago Bulls fell to the Los Angeles Lakers, 88-81, on Saturday at the United Center. The Lakers have won three of the last four meetings between the two teams.
Chicago, in the midst of a six-game skid, received 16 points from Eddy Curry and 15 from Kirk Hinrich. Tyson Chandler chipped in 10 points and 16 rebounds, but struggled mightily from the line, missing all eight of his foul shots.
Curry has averaged 16.2 points and 6.9 rebounds in his last 10 games, while the rookie Hinrich has averaged 14.3 points and 8.1 assists over that same span.
The Bulls are off until Tuesday when they visit rookie phenom LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. Chicago is 2-1 against the Cavs.
