(Basketball News) - LeBron James had 27 points, nine assists and seven rebounds to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 93-89 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at Gund Arena.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Cavs, who doubled last year’s win total in their home finale. Carlos Boozer chipped in with 18 points, as Cleveland posted its 34th win of the season.
Jeff McInnis added 16 points and seven assists for the Cavs, who have won two straight after losing seven in a row.
Trailing 75-69 early in the fourth quarter, the Cavs went on a 13-1 run to grab an 82-76 lead. James, who had five points during the burst, started it with a jumper 52 seconds into the frame. Ilgauskas later capped the run with two free throws at the 6:01 mark for the six-point lead.
Milwaukee, however, would respond by tying the game with 3:51 left on two Keith Van Horn free throws. A pair of Joe Smith free throws with 1:47 left gave the Bucks an 89-84 edge.
After that Cleveland buckled down and scored the game’s final nine points, as the Bucks didn’t score another point.
The Cavs conclude their campaign on Wednesday at New York.
