(Basketball News) - Carlos Boozer had a career-high 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds, as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Detroit Pistons, 95-86, on Thursday at Gund Arena.
LeBron James scored 23 points and also handed out nine assists for Cleveland, which won for only the second time in 11 games and earned just its sixth win of the season.
Ricky Davis added 15 points and nine rebounds and Zydrunas Ilgauskas chipped in with 10 points for the Cavaliers, who improved to 5-1 against Eastern Conference teams at home this season.
Cleveland owned the paint with 46 points compared to the Pistons’ 22. The Cavaliers also outrebounded Detroit 45-28.
The Cavs are off until Saturday when they host Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics.
